Information Design

Safe Water Network, Paul Newman’s philanthropic clean water implementation group, was searching for a visualization of their international treatment systems. Working within their established brand guidelines, an illustration style, photography direction and infographic system were developed over a 3-month period to organize and illustrate their complex processes for water treatment. Multiple print and digital pieces were created to showcase the new visualizations.

Icon Suite

Working with a flat, monoline style, icons were created to increase comprehension of complex subject matter. These icons appear throughout Safe Water Network’s information design and function both tonally and in full color. Each icon is specific enough to further understanding and versatile enough to work for multiple concepts throughout SWN’s materials.

To create cohesive design language, each icon is modeled after the universal shape of a drop of water, or includes a softened wave form to indicate flow.
